      <title>Verifying domain in HubSpot for forms - the queue for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Please help!</title>

&lt;P&gt;I am a paid Starter account customer and need urgent assistance verifying our domain in HubSpot so that our forms will work properly. I've been sitting in the chat queue waiting for assistance for over 2 hours!!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Background:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Our website is hosted with Network Solutions. We do not want to change our hosting domain or move website hosting to HubSpot.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;When trying to connect/verify the domain in HubSpot, Network Solutions advised us&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;not&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;to follow the steps for connecting the hosting domain, as it could impact our website.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Instead, we followed the steps for setting up an email sending domain (adding TXT/CNAME records as provided by HubSpot).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Despite this, our forms are still showing errors that the domain isn’t connected.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;We have double-checked all DNS entries and waited several days, but verification fails.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Key Issue:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;How do we verify our domain in HubSpot (for form functionality)&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;without&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;changing our website hosting or negatively affecting our live site?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;We only want to use HubSpot forms effectively while keeping our current domain hosting provider.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Support Attempts:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;I have tried chat support for over 2 hours, but have not reached a live agent. The email support option isn't coming up for me, despite following the bot's steps.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Both support options keep redirecting me to user guides or getting started content with no way to escalate.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Request:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Please provide clear step-by-step instructions to verify our domain in HubSpot (for forms) without changing our website host.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;If this requires technical review or intervention, please escalate my ticket internally right away.&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I'd recommend to reach out to the community next time - regardless of "how easy" the question will be &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Technical background:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-unlink="true"&gt;If you like to continue to have your website hosted on Network solution, you're most likely use the Top-Level-Domain(TLD) for the website. Something like &lt;EM&gt;YOURBUSINESSNAME.com&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you'd connect the same TLD to HubSpot, your visitors would see the HubSpot pages. So therefore this is not an option.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;An email sending domain is used - like the name suggests - for sending emails. Not for forms, or the preference page(s) that come with forms and emails.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;What I recommend is:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Create a subdomain and connect it to HubSpot. Something like &lt;EM&gt;content.YOURBUSINESSNAME.com&lt;/EM&gt;. Most Domain provider offer 100/1000, sometimes even unlimited Subdomains per Domain. The name of the Subdomain ("content" in the example above) is completely up to you.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once you've created a Subdomain in your domain provider, connect it as a Domain "for everything" in HubSpot. This will keep your Network Solutions page accessible and allow you build/host forms, send emails etc. on HubSpot.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If I'm not off, I think you can even add several subdomains in Starter. If this should be the case, you could create (and connect) a bunch of subdomains like newsletter.YOURBUSINESSNAME.com for emails, content.YOURBUSINESSNAME.com for everything else. If this should not be possible and only one subdomain should be connectable in Starter then it would be one Subdomain for everything, so think about the name for it&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The order of steps how I recommend to set everything up is:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Create at least one Subdomain in your Domain provider&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Connect the Subdomain to HubSpot as "everything"&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Create a simple form and email for testing purposes&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Test those (set up something like a simple workflow "if form is submitted -&amp;gt; send email")&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;When you're done with testing, set up real forms and embed them via the provided embed code into your Network Solution website.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
