Hi, I"m having an issue with my workflow which should move customers to a dealstage and set a property value with an exit reason. The workflow is working fine and the property value ist created but the is an error for the changed dealstage: The property couldn't be set because the deal isn't associated with any target records

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi @LKalny,

This is a strange one. It looks like you're enrolling deals and updating these exact deals in step 2, correct? Since this is not referencing any associated objects (I might be missing something), this seems like unexpected behavior to me.

Have you investigated the records by clicking on the error message? Under "Choose value", are you selecting a static value? It's hard to explore this without having access to all settings and without access to the workflow log.

If you cannot find any clues, I'd reach out to HubSpot support in-app directly.

Tha's right. In the 1 Step I'm also updateing these exact deal and this works without any error. Also got the same issue with another workflow which ist basically the same, just different triggers.

For choose a value I took a dealstage where the deal should go to (the dealstage is also in the same pipline as the dealstage in the first trigger)

@LKalny when exactly did the errors occur? Were they maybe caused by a previously configured version of this action? They could theoretically be days, weeks, months ago. (You can check the workflow revision history and cross reference it with the dates of the errors.)

If they're from the current verison, I'd reach out to HubSpot support.
