Hey @UNDIVIDED-SB, thank you for posting in our Community!

You can add custom modules to blog post templates by editing the blog template in the Design Manager. Open the template, and drag the desired custom module into the layout. If the template is locked, you may need to clone it first.

For individual posts, ensure the template is set to allow drag-and-drop areas.

To our top experts, @CateDuarte and @Gaurav_Aggarwal any recommendations for @UNDIVIDED-SB matter?

I have a few custom modules (sections) that were created for my Hubspot website that I'd like to "add" to my blog posts, either in the template or drag and drop into each one as I create it.

Is there any way to do this? I can't see a + button to add anything. Is there a workaround? Why can't I cross-pollinate these two parts of my marketing content?

Please help! We go live next week and I'd love to have this figured out.

Hi @UNDIVIDED-SB,

Because blog posts are template-dependent (not drag-and-drop), the only way to add a section is from the template.

Once you've created a section on any page (not blog posts), you only need to copy the hubL codes and paste them into the blog post template.

Here are the steps to fetch the section's hubL:

Open the page in the page editor, then add ?developerMode=true at the end of the URL

For example:
<LI-CODE lang="markup">https://app.hubspot.com/pages/1234567/editor/0987654321/content?developerMode=true</LI-CODE>

Next, navigate to your section. Hover over the arrow icon, and click "Copy as hubL"

This will copy your section's hubL codes. You can then paste it into your blog post template.

Thank you for the ideas. I'm not a code expert but gave this a try. I couldn't quite figure it out or get it to work properly, but it does seem to be the solution. When I have more time I'll look into it further. Appreciate this community!
