Global Header Not working on new landing page

Hello,

I publiushed a website on hubspot a few moths ago and it has been working great. I recently created a landing page for it using the same global header. The buttons in the header work for the website, but they are not working for the landing page. I don't want to make too many changes because I don't want to screw up the website. Anybody know why this would be?

Happy to help @Mhachmann - the buttons on your website work because the Services and About are anchor links on the same page. For the Landing Page, the anchor links don't exist on that page so there is no where for the link to jump to.

To make the anchor links work from other pages, you'd need the full URL before the # but this will create a reload on the main page which is less than ideal.

The best option is to remove the navigation completely from the Landing Page - if it is a true landing page (not a website page) than you would want to remove every link that doesn't align with your CTA for that LP.

Is there any way to remove that global header from Just the one landing page? When i try to remove it, it says changes will publish to all 4, which I'm assuming means it will delete it from my website as well. I like the landing page i created, but want to get rid of the global header. Can i just copy everythign on to a completely blank template? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi @Mhachmann the ability to remove the header from a single landing page depends on the theme you're using - there are many paid themes that make this very easy to do, while others it would require customization.

You're correct that if you publish to all 4, that it will remove it from all - that's what a global header does, it is a single header that applies the same changes to all locations where it is used. If you don't want a global header, you'd need to control the header independently for every page as a module directly on the page.

You could create a blank template, another option would be to hide it on the individual page via the settings.
