Hello everyone,

I have been running a direct mail campaign to prospects. On the letters are a qr code which redirects to a hubspot landing page.

When I check the qr code analytics on our direct mail provider's website, it say 100s of letter have been scanned.

However, when I go to check the landing page views on HubSpot, they are half the amount of QR code scans.

I realise this is an not 100% HubSpot, but does anyone know why there is such a discrepency? Any theories?

Hi @HRichthe2nd

This might be a silly question, but how exactly is your direct mail provider reporting on QR code scans?

I might be missing something obvious but unless they enfore using a specific app, how could they even report on this. Most phones now scan QR codes with the camera, and I am not aware that this would trigger and "has scanned" information being sent.
