Hi @THeptinstall,

I assume you are trying to pick a CTA while editing a custom module on the page? If so, the new CTA (2.0) is not available as a field in the Design Manager, which means it currently is not available to be used within custom modules. So if you see a field for selecting a CTA in a module, that will include only the Legacy CTAs. The only workaround for that at the moment is to use the CTA 2.0 by inserting it in the Rich Text editor.

Hi community.

I am trying to implement the Power Pro template system off of the marketplace, and I'm running into issues with their templates, which do not seem to support the new Hubspot CTA functionality. I am using the Hubspot Starter bundle, which, according to Hubspot Support, includes the new CTA (not legacy CTA) functionality. Has anyone used the Power Pro templates with any success in the Starter Bundle?

Thank you for that quick response! The there are several modules built into these templates I am trying to use that contain the CTA feature. Specifically, in this case, the global header modules included in the template is using CTA functionality and must be "deleted before I publish the page." So I cannot even set up my main navigation. It would be more ok (not great, but ok) if I was just trying to add one of the new CTA features like a modal or slide in banner, etc But this is the main navigation of the website. So I'm bummed that I might not be able to use the template system at all.

I agree, there are many themes that are using the CTAs with this kind of setup and it sure will be a significant impact to a lot of users.

Currently, as far as I am aware of, there have not been any plans announced by HubSpot to allow new CTAs to be used in the same capacity. It is possible it may be added, but even if it was, the theme developers may need to make the corresponding updates in the theme.

Since there is no clear timeline, for the immediate I suggest reaching out to the theme's support team and let them know about the issue. They should be able to roll out an update, especially since it's interfering with your ability to publish the main navigation.

The engineering team behind the Power Pro template are on the case. I have had a few exchanges with them and they assure me that they have a fix in their upcoming releases planned. In hindsight, however, (and having no idea how Hubspot coordinates new feature rollouts with their partners), it would have been great to align things a bit better so the partners had ample time to meet their feature enhancements release in conjunction with the 'mother ship.'
