How to stop text wrapping with hyphen on mobile with starter template

I'm using a starter template to create a landing page, text is automatically wrapping, with hyphen on mobile view. I can't edit source code as it's a starter template, how do I stop this from happening so words don't break on mobile?

@WMcVay having the text wrap with hyphens is the most responsive solution, there is one workaround in the text editor you could try, which is to force two words together using a non-breaking space, which might force the word being hyphenated to move fully to the next line.

Here is an example of how it would look (using Advanced > Source Code to add the non-breaking space)

<p>This is my text that is on the landing page and maybe it is somewhere here where it wraps to the next line and adds a hyphen. To prevent it from happening, I can combine two words together like this: wonderful adventure which will cause these two words to stick together on the same line because we've added a non-breaking space. </p>

Let me know if you try it and it solves the issue, or if you need help finding another option.

Hi, thank you for your support. I also search for a solution to have soft hyphens included in the headlines and copy to optimize responsive layout of landipages and websites. You recommend to get into the source code. But source code is not accessible in the starter suite. Or am I missing something here?

Hi @MWolf this would be done in the source code for any Rich Text property within a module, you wouldn't be able to do this for other properties unless you add the code like this:

For example - a Title could use a non-breaking space:

Thank you for your reply and your support. Yet, my point is that the source code for landing pages is not available in the HubSpot STARTER SUITE templates. That's why I am stuck here.

Apart from buying a professional license, is there any other workaround for this?

My apologies @MWolf I didn't realize it was a Landing Page, for Starter you can only edit the source code for Website Pages.

Unfortunately there isn't a workaround you can implement for landing pages to access the source code.

One thing you could try....I don't know for sure if it will work.

When you copy/paste rich text HubSpot will usually retain the code, so if it has paragraph tags and non-breaking spaces, it will copy those over even though they're hidden.

You can't paste it as code in the rich text box, but if you can create the text you want on a website rich text editor that contains the code you need, copy the right text (not source code) and paste on your landing page, it should keep the formatting from the original code.
