Thank you both for your quick response. I confirmed with our developer that we still see the chat window in incognito mode. Our chatflows have been turned off for at least 6 months. Our developer added another script on the page that will forcefully close the widget on load, and an additional DOM manipulation to hide the iframe if it does show up. However, this fix is not ideal. They're turned off, but we do have 3 chatflows that haven't been deleted yet. We used at least 2 of them for a time but haven't in at least six months. We're thinking we should delete them all at this point. Is there anything I should consider before deleting them? Or do you have any other suggestions? Thank you.

Hi!

In Conversations>Chatflows, every chat is off. However, when we add our hubspot embed code to our site, the chat bubble and window still appear. We don't see it on the HubSpot cms pages, just externally where we have the tracking code. I found lots of suggestions for CSS fixes, but we'd like to remove the chat feature entirely. And, we tried the solution here https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/conversation/chat-widget-sdk but the chat feature still flashes, and we're concerned it could be triggered by other events. Is there another way to ensure the chat is removed? Thank you!

@CStenger To confirm, are you still seeing the chat even in incognito? I'm wondering if there's a cache situation happening with the HubSpot server.

For the external pages, everything is loaded through the same tracking code - it doesn't change or get modified when you add or remove chat, so it must be how the chat settings (being turned off) are reaching the external resource.

Hi @CStenger,

How long after turning off the chats did you check whether it was still displayed? Have you tried the external pages in a private browser? Typically the turning on/off is instant but browser cache might interfere.

Best regards
