Hi folks!

I'm planning to have two blogs for two different kinds of content, since I want each one of them to use its own template.

I'll then want to have an index page that displays the previews of my latest blogs posts for both these blogs.

My question is: this index page could be a HubSpot landing page, right?

Many thanks is advance!

Could be. Where is your website hosted? The only reservation I am having with using a landing page is your CMS could be www.yourdomain.com, the lp could be lp.yourdomain.com and the blog could be blog(1/2).yourdomain.com leading to 3 different subdomains needing to be indexed. I would probably try to keep everything within 1-2 subdomains here and not introduce a third from the landing page.

Hi @Ben_M and thanks for your reply! Let's say my company's website url is www.mycompany.com. I was planning to:
- have a landing page serving as the index page displaying previews of various content types derived from different blogs - its url would be the following subdomain: learn.mycompany.com;

- then each content type would be created under its dedicated blog and their index pages would have the following urls structure: learn.mycompany.com/case-studies, learn.mycompany.com/blog, learn.mycompany.com/landing-pages, etc.
- finally, in turn, individual posts within a specific content type, such as case studies, would have URLs like learn.mycompany.com/case-studies/case-study-number1, learn.mycompany.com/case-studies/case-study-number2, etc. (and the same logic would be applied to the other blogs).

As mentioned, I'm contemplating using a HubSpot landing page as the index for all our content. What are your thoughts on this approach? I'd appreciate your insights. Thanks in advance!

From your recent post, I think we are pivoting away from the initial discussion. Personally speaking, I have not seen blog templates setup in a way to host case studies ( https://knowledge.hubspot.com/blog/create-a-new-blog ). When I read your use case, it sounds like you have the subdomain learn that will host both your blog and landing pages in Hubspot.

From that you will be hosting a blog for a traditional blog that you will write, as well as case studies as an additional blog.

So to answer your basic question, yes a landing page could host the content you are looking to. The one thing to be cautious of in Hubspot of sharing the same subdomain with landing pages and blogs, 2 different objects in hubspot, is that they will return an error if you try to use the same URL in both objects. Typically what I see in setups is a separate subdomain or group of subdomains for landing pages vs. those for a blog as landing pages are typically just for conversion, blogs host blog content, and your website may link to all. But your use case could work. The thing about these marketing platforms is there is not always one way to do things, so you could build it out via your method.
