Remove hsLang=en from being appended to pages

The backstory: Our site has a bunch of landing pages, but the header and footer couldn't be edited as it's global content that we cannot modify. As a workaround, I added CSS to the header and footer to hide the entire bar, but I still want to keep my language switcher to offer visitors access to the same pages in French and Spanish. In place of this, I added a section in the builder and threw in button modules linking to the multilingual pages.

The issue: These buttons are by default appended with 'hsLang=en' and hence not opening up the French and Spanish pages as a result of bypassing the language redirect. Is it that the multilingual pages can only be reached through the default language switcher that HS provides (which is really sad btw)?
