[New feature] Generate blog and website page title & meta descriptions

Hello content assistant beta community! I'm Amanda, one of the product managers at HubSpot working on content assistant features.

I'm excited to announce that we added a new set of features to the content assistant private beta. All portals that are ungated for content assistant slash and highlight commands in the editors now have access to one-click blog/website page title and meta description generation as well.

By using content assistant, which is currently in beta, you acknowledge and agree to the HubSpot Beta Terms

How does it work?

After you've entered at least 200 characters in the body of your blog post, website page, or landing page, go to your page settings. When you get to the title or meta description field, you will see a lightning bolt icon next to the field.

Clicking on this icon will automatically generate a title or meta description for the page/post based on the contents of the page you've written so far!

Love this Amanda! I despise writing meta descriptions. So excited by this
new feature.

Hi Amanda, very cool! However, it should respect (at least more or less) the recommended # of characters. When it generates the double length it's not of big help.

Thank you for the information! I have a question... Is this feature only available in English? Does the AI assistant generate content in Spanish too?

Hi @Andrea_demier ! This feature should work for all HubSpot-supported languages. Let me know if you see any issues with using it for Spanish

Hi @CAmmann ! Thank you for this feedback. We are trying to get it to respect the character limit for titles and meta descriptions-- it's been tricky to get the AI to consistently "listen" to our prompts to do so. We will continue fine tuning and looking for a way to get the length of the titles to be more consistent

Hi Amanda! This has been a life saver on landing pages but when I try to use it for blog meta descriptions, the circle just spins the entire time and doesn't actually work even though I have over 200 words in the blog. Is there something else I need to be doing so that it works for blogs?
