Tracking customer payments

Hi everyone,

we are currently just starting out with the Stripe payments integration with HubSpot. As we are based outside of the US, HubSpot's own payments tool is not an option for us. Having read some conflicting information on the web, I thought it was best to ask here. Here's our use case:

We want to be able to send invoices made in Stripe through a payments link to customers. We then want to be able to see which of our customers has clicked on the link and paid and which haven't, both in HubSpot and in Stripe itself. Is this possible? Does anyone have any experience with Stripe who can help us?

You can create and send invoices directly from your Stripe dashboard. Once you've created an invoice for a customer, you can generate a payment link and send it to them via email or any other communication channel. Once the payment data is synced with HubSpot, you can set up custom reports or dashboards to track payment status, revenue, and other metrics within HubSpot. This allows you to have a centralized view of your sales and payment data.

Happy to help @PamCotton and @Marvin_Morgan24, connecting Stripe to HubSpot is limited by the native integration - an app like Zaybra (now Saas Hapily) helps extend the capabilities of using Stripe with HubSpot.

I'd recommend requesting a demo to verify it will meet your specific needs.

Some customer data platforms like Able CDP have connections to both and can report progress of the same customer across HubSpot and Stripe. Can be an option, depending on what needs to happen with the invoice payment data after - is it for reporting conversions per source, is there a marketing automation that needs to run etc.

I don't think Stripe Payment Links report views, but you could get failed payment events, as well as refunds.
