Send recurring invoices as pdf by email meeting Germany law requirements

Hi,

can I use HubSpot to send our monthly invoices as pdf documents by email?

Payments do not necessarily need ot be handled. This is something our tax account does, but we need to able to invoices compliant to German law, see here:

Stripe has the restriction you cannot add a company name to your customers when you use invoicing with wire transfer (payment method EUR Cash balance)

At least in Germany most companies expect invoices and wire transfer payment.

I understand that you'd like to send a recurring email where you'd attach a PDF (which would be the invoice). If that is not the case, please feel free to let me know.

@BérangèreL thanks for the tag - @rh7 I have a few ideas for how you could do this, but I would need to understand more about how you plan to send these out.

Are you wanting to automate the process so the invoice goes out automatically? What type of information for the customer do you need included on the invoice?

We are a SaaS company and we are tracking the utilized seats in HubSpot. We want HubSpot to send out pdf invoices based on the number of seat as email attachment on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on the customer's preference. We are open to any suggestion, add-on, etc. We certainly do not want to reinvent the wheel, so we would appreciate if you could share best practices.

@rh7 the only part that has me stumped on this one is the part about "tracking the utilized seats in HubSpot" what are you using to track this - a deal property, line item, custom object, or something else?

All you would expect on a in SaaS-invoice, e.g. number of seats used, price per Seat, total amount per month
