Customers having Invoice payment issues

I've had a couple of customers who haven't been able to pay their invoices and experiencing errors

Here's a couple of different screenshots.

Anyone know what might be happening or how I can troubleshoot?

I have done a test payment on andriod and it's fine - I'm dreading it's an iphone issue. Anyone else had the same?

Hey @03641 - thanks for posting here. We definitely don't expect this behavior, so I'm hoping we can identify the issue.

I've found a couple of similar Community posts (see here and here), where it seems that the issue either resolved itself or required a disconnection and re-connection to Stripe. Before we take any action, can you please confirm:

-How long have your customers seen this issue?
-Have any of them reported what type of device they're using?
-If an incognito window helps resolve the issue?

Hi Shane,

They are all on iphone and i've just discovered its been as long as the last 2 weeks. Android payments and desktop are still going through.

I also recentely had another issue on iPhone with the menu for my website slipping behind the hero image. The template owners were taking a look, could this affect that, even though this is in the invoices app not on the site?

The plot thickens..... New customers are beign created in stripe but the payment then fails

Been looking into this a bit more in stripe it says cancelled reason: duplicate but it would seem that's coming from hubspot not Stripe

On the payement page I see this, which shows soem framing security issue?

I'd like to tag in some folks with Stripe experience to see if they have any insight here. @Bryantworks, @HFisher7, and @ChristinaKay - any thoughts on what may be causing this behavior?

Hi Shane,
Do you know if there's any way to disable apple pay within Hubspot for the stripe integration?
Having done more testing today it's that, so I'd like to remove it while i get it fixed

Hey there @03641. While I haven't experienced this, and we aren't facing it as far as I know where I work, here's maybe a little help. First, you specifically asked if there's a way to disable Apple Pay within HubSpot for the Stripe integration. I agree with you, I think that's the right instinct. You should be able to do this in Stripe Dashboard → Settings → Payment Methods, and toggle off Apple Pay. This won't affect card payments, just removes the Apple Pay option that's causing failures on iPhone.

I found this thread that seems like it might be somewhat related thread on invoice payment link failures. Answers there suggest that disconnecting and reconnecting the Stripe integration has resolved similar issues for other users. NOTE: If you do this, you must generate fresh payment/invoice links. Unfortunately, old links will break after reconnection.

If it were me, I'd try to engage HubSpot Support and open a ticket with them. The framing security error and the "duplicate" cancellation in Stripe suggest this may be a platform-level bug on HubSpot's side, specifically how they render the Stripe Apple Pay component within their invoice payment page. A support ticket referencing the specific errors (CSP/framing violation + Stripe duplicate cancellation) should help HubSpot's engineering team investigate. You also mentioned a separate issue where your site's menu was slipping behind the hero image on iPhone, asking if it could be related. What I found is that while that's likely a CSS z-index issue with the template, it's worth noting in your support ticket if you're seeing both. It could indicate a broader rendering or iframe conflict on mobile Safari.

So I believe I have fixed it by unplugging everything and reconnecting the
integration.

Luckily I don't have subscriptions otherwise it would have been a Comms
nightmare.

So far so good
