Send Invoices before due date

Currently with Hubspot subscriptions, it is only possible to generate the invoice on the start date

Our company, like many other B2B SaaS companies like to send invoices to our customers in advance of the subscription renewal to allow them to secure the PO and pass the invoice through to the payments processing department in plenty of time

Our business terms are that we will send an invoice 14 days prior to renewal, and the payment is due 14 days after the renewal

At the moment, with subscriptions, we can only generate the invoice on the date the subscription renews.
Why cannot we separate the billing date from the subscription start date?

I totally get it, HubSpot subscriptions don’t let you send invoices before the renewal date right now. The billing date is locked to the subscription start or renewal date, and there’s no native option to separate them.

If you need to send invoices early (like 14 days before), you’ll have to either create a manual invoice outside of subscriptions or use a third-party billing tool (like Chargebee or Zuora) that gives you more control.

It’s a common request, so worth submitting feedback to HubSpot too.

I cant belive this is not a feature in HS.Must be really diffficult to add this feature ?

Our Product Team actively monitors this forum to asses feedback and choose which features to add to the Product roadmap. If you haven't yet, I also recommend to follow the idea to receive updates from the Product Team on its development. Hi Albert, I was wondering if there any updates on this feature request?

I am in general have few questions about commerce as we are currently transfering all data with subscriptions and billing from one CRM to Hubspot and I would appreciate a hint if I can get a call with one of the specialists specificaly for Commerce
