Metered billing in Hubspot

Hello community!

I am curious how you are handling metered billing via Hubspot. We charge our customers with fixed monthly price + percentage of gross sales revenue per month (tickets sold via our solution). I would like to use hubspot subscription for it. Fixed monthly price is not a problem but with a combination of variable line item I am not sure how this can be handled. I'll appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Hi @JPusztay,

To my knowledge, HubSpot does not have the ability to create calculated properties for products/line items. Maybe with the recent improvements to Commerce Hub, this will be coming out in the future.

You could perform the calculation externally via something like Zapier, and use that to create line items from HubSpot products.

thank you for your answers. It looks like gratuated method could serve my case. The pricing is based on tickets sold via our platform and the variable price varies on the volume. I will have a closer look.
