Parsing filter from deal towards product library

Hello

On a deal we already select a project.

Our products are also linked to a project.

Can I parse a filter when Selecting a product from the Product Library so that our sales only see the product linked to the project chosen on deal level.

Hi @JVanpachtenbe ,

At the moment, HubSpot doesn’t support dynamic filtering of the Product Library based on deal properties, so when your team selects a product during a deal, they’ll still see the full product list, not just those tied to a specific project.

What you can do for now:

Manual Search: Reps can manually search for the right products using naming conventions or tags (e.g., "Project A – Product 1").
Custom Fields (for reporting only): You can add a “Project” property to both deals and products for alignment, but it won’t filter the product selection during deal creation.
Custom Development (optional): If you're open to a more advanced solution, a developer could build a custom sidebar or UI integration using HubSpot's API to suggest or limit products based on deal properties.
Use Reports & Views: You can report on deals by product after the fact, but not filter the product picker dynamically at the selection stage.

Yes you can set a filter so your sales team only sees the products linked to the project selected in the deal This helps keep things simple and clear When someone chooses a project on the deal the product list will only show items related to that project This saves time and avoids mistakes by showing only the right products for the right project
