topic Q1 2026 Commerce Hub Product Launches in Commerce Product Updates

This quarter, we’ve rolled out a suite of powerful updates designed to automate your billing, expand your global reach, and give you total control over the buyer experience. From AI-powered quoting with Breeze to multi-brand support and Apple Pay on custom domains, these enhancements make it easier than ever to collect revenue and manage complex commerce operations directly within HubSpot.

Send high dollar invoices with partial payments enabled

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Checkout now displays payment method limits for invoices with partial payments enabled, defaulting the payment amount to the maximum allowed per method and showing an error if the entered amount exceeds the limit.

Why does it matter? Merchants issuing large invoices are frustrated when payment method limits prevent them from creating or collecting payments on a single invoice. This change helps merchants maintain a single invoice while allowing buyers to pay in multiple installments within permitted payment method limits, reducing confusion and failed payments.

Product Rollout

Create one time invoices from quotes or deals with workflows

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Convert to Invoice workflow is a workflow action that automatically creates a draft, one-time invoice from a quote or deal. When the source record includes recurring line items, the action creates a one-time invoice version of those line items (instead of creating a recurring invoice).

Why does it matter? By enabling a workflow action to create a draft invoice from a deal or quote, customers can automate a repeatable invoicing step inside HubSpot. As a result, invoices get created faster, in a consistent format, and with less hands-on effort from sales ops and finance ops teams.

Product Rollout

Two Way Invoice Sync for Xero

What is it? Two-way invoice sync for Xero is now generally available to all HubSpot customers. This feature enables syncing invoices from HubSpot → Xero, and Xero → HubSpot. In addition to syncing invoices, payments applied to invoices will also be synced, whether the payments are created in HubSpot or in Xero. You can control which direction you want to sync invoices, and use filters to control which invoices are included in sync. You can find our Knowledge Base documentation here, which includes detailed information and screenshots.

Why does it matter? Until now, HubSpot’s Xero integration only supported one-way syncing of invoices from Xero → HubSpot. With this new functionality, you can use invoice sync to send invoices both from Xero → HubSpot, and HubSpot → Xero. This update makes it easy to reflect invoices and payments in your accounting system, you no longer need to manually export invoices from HubSpot and upload them to Xero. Any invoices that are created in HubSpot can be synced into Xero within minutes, and will be updated if the invoice is changed in HubSpot, or vice-versa.

Product Rollout

Credit Memos

What is it? A credit memo is a document a business issues to reduce a customer’s amount owed, typically to correct an overcharge, reflect a return, or apply a discount. It acts as an official record of the adjustment and is applied to an invoice or the customer’s outstanding balance.

Why does it matter? Credit Memos are a must have for finance and operations teams because they’re a standard way to correct an invoice after it’s issued, without rewriting history. With credit memos in HubSpot, merchants can issue adjustments (like discounts, returns, write-offs, or billing corrections), keep a clean audit trail, and tie every credit back to the original invoice if they'd like for accurate reporting and reconciliation. The result is fewer manual workarounds, fewer data inconsistencies, and a faster, more trustworthy accounts receivable workflow inside HubSpot.

Product Rollout

Edit non-balance changing properties on one-time invoices after payment

What is it? Customers can now edit invoice details on partially paid or paid one-time invoices, as long as the change doesn’t affect the amount due. This makes it easy to fix common fields like PO number, notes, and recipient emails recreating invoices.

Why does it matter? Without this ability, a small typo on an invoice that’s already paid (or partially paid) can force teams into workarounds: recreating invoices, duplicating records, or breaking reporting. This update helps customers:

Keep accounts receivable (AR) records accurate, even after payments start

Reduce duplicate invoices and reporting drift in HubSpot

Confidently support real-world AR workflows without choosing between correctness and operational overhead.

Product Rollout

Choose Your Send Address for E-Signature Verification

What is it? We’re introducing the ability for customers to customize the “from” address used for e-signature verification emails on HubSpot quotes. Previously, these emails were always sent from success@hubspot.com, which couldn’t be changed and often caused confusion or deliverability issues. With this update, users can set a general inbox in HubSpot as the sender for all e-signature verification emails, or revert to the HubSpot default at any time.

Why does it matter? Giving customers control over the sender address improves trust, clarity, and deliverability for e-signature verification emails. Instead of an unfamiliar HubSpot address that may confuse recipients or land in spam, users can send these messages from a recognizable inbox tied to their own company and brand. This leads to smoother signing experiences and reduces errors.

Product Rollout

<LI-WRAPPER> </LI-WRAPPER>

Create quotes through Breeze Assistant

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Create quotes from anywhere in HubSpot using Breeze Assistant, enabling AI to intelligently select required inputs such as templates, rather than navigating across the platform and manually selecting the required inputs.

Why does it matter? You can now create quotes while they are top of mind without navigating away from where you're working, allowing you to remain focused and in-context, while producing accurate, detailed quotes from Breeze.

Product Rollout

Backdate Effective Date on Billing-Disabled Quotes

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Users can now set the Effective date of a quote to a date in the past when billing is disabled. Previously, users were blocked from backdating because the Expiration date was required to be later than the Effective date.

Why does it matter? This update allows users to reflect the actual start date of services that have already been provided while still sending a quote and collecting agreement.

Product Rollout

Property Based Quote Approvals for Standard Approvals

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? We’re expanding the capabilities of Standard Approvals by giving admins more flexibility in how they set up approval rules. Instead of requiring every quote to go through approval, admins can now use quote properties or properties from associated objects like line items and deals to configure a targeted quote approval workflow. This means they’ll only be prompted to review quotes that meet the defined criteria.

Why does it matter? Today, standard approvals require admins to review every quote, which becomes increasingly inefficient as volume grows. By allowing admins to define a criteria for which quotes to review, they can focus on quotes that need attention. This reduces unnecessary workload and creates a more scalable, streamlined approval process.

Product Rollout

Edit HTML Source Code in Rich Text Editors for Quotes

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Customers that desire rich, web-native content on their quotes can now leverage source code editing in the rich text editor, allowing them to view and edit the HTML created, or write their own HTML. The rich text editor generates HTML for content created in rich text areas. It supports text formatting, lists, spacing, images, tables, and more through the editor UI. Previously, the generated HTML was not editable.

Why does it matter? Currently, Commerce Hub quotes do not support custom HTML, limiting users who need advanced branding, layout control, or complex data handling. Users want to customize quote appearance: colors, styles, layouts, graphics, and embedded content (ex. case studies or images), to align with their brand and present offerings professionally. Today, users rely on workarounds like embedding iframes.

Product Rollout

Edit Seller Company & Contact in Quote Templates

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Users can now change who the seller contact and company are in Quote Templates, allowing users to have more flexibility and control of the information presented on their quotes and standardize quote information at the template level to reduce redundant editing within quotes. Additionally, users can now display a seller contact's phone number.

Why does it matter? Users want to standardize quote information at the template level, including who the seller is. Now, user can set who the seller company and contact are at the template level and all quotes created from the edited template will inherit the edited seller information, reducing the need for sales reps to make this adjustment at the quote-level. This is particularly helpful for portals that have multiple brands.

Product Rollout

Customize Display of Line Item Properties in CPQ Quotes

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? You can customize how line item properties (standard & custom) are displayed, as columns or inline rows, in the line items table for Commerce Hub quotes and templates.

Why does it matter? Users want to standardize quote information at the template level, including who the seller is. Now, user can set who the seller company and contact are at the template level and all quotes created from the edited template will inherit the edited seller information, reducing the need for sales reps to make this adjustment at the quote-level. This is particularly helpful for portals that represent multiple sub-companies with different names, addresses, and contacts, as they can now have a template to represent each each sub-company.

Product Rollout

Quote Associations to Custom Objects

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Customers can associate quotes with custom objects. For example, if a customer creates a car custom object, each quote can be linked to a specific car model or trim, ensuring the quote reflects the correct configuration.

Why does it matter? Linking quotes to a custom object keeps everything in one place, making it easy to reference quotes directly from the object and ensuring accurate reporting.

Product Rollout

Capturing billing details from Quotes

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? You can add the following information to a quote and allow buyers to edit the information before accepting the quote:

Purchase Order #

Buyer Tax ID #

Buyer Company Name and Address

Billing Contact

Billing Address

Billing Company

Once the buyer accepts the quote, these fields cannot be edited by the buyer.

Why does it matter? Previously, you had to collect billing information from buyers outside of the quoting process. This fragmented approach caused sales teams to waste time chasing down data, specifically billing information, purchase order numbers, and tax IDs, which are needed to ensure accurate billing.

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

Product Rollout

Template Level Styling

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Quote template fonts, colors, and other styling can now be customized for each individual template inside of the quote template editor. Previously, all quote templates had a single style determined by the quote theme.

Why does it matter? This update allows template styles to be different across different templates.

Product Rollout

Show or hide Pricing Tiers on Quotes

What is it? Tiered pricing allows product prices to adjust based on the selected tier. Users can now control whether these pricing tiers are visible to buyers on quotes. Users may not want their buyers to know how they determine the price of a product when tiered pricing is used.

Why does it matter? With this settings, users can control whether this information is displayed to buyers at both the quote template and quote level.

Product Rollout

PDF Page Break Setting on Quotes

What is it? Users can now control how sections within a quote are displayed on PDFs using the page break setting within the Theme editor. Previously, if a section was long, the section was automatically moved to the next page on the PDF. For some users, this left a lot of white space.

Why does it matter? Now, users can change this setting so that a section is split across a page break. This setting can be set at the Theme Level and overridden/adjusted at the Template level.

Product Rollout

Auto-generate quote content sections

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? Creating quotes will now provide a more comprehensive draft utilizing Deal context from activities. This includes meeting transcripts, emails, and more. This will be leveraged to generate complete cover letters and executive summaries when configured on template sections, and when enough context exists from the deal. With this, Breeze will now be open by default at time of quote generation and provide direct context to the user regarding how the content was applied, and suggest improvements.

Why does it matter? You can now ensure increased personalization and accuracy for your buyers, and save time creating comprehensive quotes by leveraging automatic generation for the sections that matter most to you.

Product Rollout

Select a Primary Quote on a Deal Record

What is it? Users can now designate one published or accepted quote as the primary quote on a deal and this primary association determines which quote line items are used to update the deal line items and deal amount. This ensures deal data reflects the correct quote for forecasting and reporting.

Why does it matter? Users need accurate forecasting and reporting when multiple quotes are associated with a deal. Currently, the deal line items and amount only update based on the most recently published quote. If a quote is accepted, this does not update the deal data, which makes it difficult to track the true value of a deal, leading to confusion and potential discrepancies in forecasting data.

Product Rollout

Automated Sales Tax Calculation for CPQ Quotes

What is it? You can now automatically calculate sales tax on quotes in real-time based on your line item's tax category and your buyer's address. This means sales tax is calculated instantly, so you can include accurate sales tax estimates on quotes for your buyers. Plus, you can enable automated sales tax without enrolling in HubSpot payments or Stripe payments.

Why does it matter? Stop spending time on manual tax calculations and eliminate costly errors. Automated sales tax instantly applies the correct tax rate to every line item based on your buyer's location, so you can: - Create quotes faster and more confidently - Stay compliant with local tax regulations - Accelerate your quote-to-cash cycle by eliminating errors from manual tax entry

Product Rollout

Add Line Items to Custom Objects

What is it? You can now use the Data Model Builder to create associations between Line Items and Custom Objects—no custom code or workarounds required. With this update, it's easier to understand and configure the data that matters most to your business from a centralized location. Line Items can be associated to custom objects. In the app the Line Items sidebar card provides an editor to add or edit Line Items for the custom object. From the API new or existing line items can be associated to custom objects.

Why does it matter? This expands what it is possible to model with custom objects.

Product Rollout

Manage Permissions on Line-Item Properties

What is it? You can now restrict access to specific line-item properties (like name, unit price, or discount) by user or team. This allows greater control and security within your quoting and sales workflows.

Why does it matter? Until now, line items didn’t support field-level permissions, creating risk and operational inefficiencies for teams needing more control. With this update, you can:

Prevent reps from editing sensitive fields (like product name or unit price)

Give finance or RevOps teams exclusive access to key pricing data

Align permissions on line items with how you already manage Deals, Contacts, and other records

Reduce errors and manual oversight by locking down what should stay fixed

Product Rollout

Add Line Items to Deals via Workflow Actions

What is it? You now have access to a new workflow action that lets you automatically add line items to a deal. Within a workflow, you can:

Select a specific product from your product library

Set a quantity

Automatically attach that line item to the deal when the workflow runs

This brings product and pricing logic directly into your automations. No manual deal updates required.

Why does it matter? Before this, adding products to deals required manual work or post-automation cleanup. Now, you can:

Fully automate deal setup the moment a trigger fires

Ensure consistent products and quantities are applied every time

Reduce human error and save time for sales and ops teams

Build more advanced revenue workflows (e.g. auto-adding onboarding fees, setup packages, or standard bundles)

This is a huge unlock for automation, especially for teams standardizing how deals are created.

Product Rollout

Associate Payments with Tickets

What is it? Payments can now be directly associated with tickets. You can add the payments card to a ticket view and manually associate payments with tickets.

Why does it matter? When a payment is associated with a ticket, you can take payment actions, like refunding or reissuing receipts, directly from the ticket, without leaving it.

Product Rollout

Automated Tax-Only Onboarding

<LI-WRAPPER></LI-WRAPPER>

What is it? You can now use Stripe's automated sales tax capabilities without enrolling in HubSpot payments, ensuring accurate tax calculations based on your buyer's address on legacy quotes, subscriptions, and invoices. Automated Sales Tax (AST) is now available for Commerce Hub Professional or Enterprise customers based in the United States, Canada, or the U.K.

Why does it matter? You can turn on automated sales tax without enabling integrated payments processing, reducing setup time.

Product Rollout

Display Support for 0% Tax Rates

What is it? Users can now display $0 tax amounts when tax is assessed at 0%, across quotes, checkout, invoices, and payment links. This applies to both portals using Automated Sales Tax (AST) and those configuring their own tax rates through the Tax Rate Library. Previously, $0 tax could not be shown to buyers. Portals using AST would suppress the tax display when the result was $0, and users configuring tax rates were blocked from creating 0% rates entirely. This made it unclear whether tax was calculated or simply skipped.

Why does it matter? This update improves transparency by allowing 0% tax rates to be configured and displayed. It ensures buyers understand when tax was assessed, even if the amount is zero, helping to reduce confusion, build trust, and improve documentation and billing clarity.

Product Rollout

Federal and Provincial Taxes for Canadian Buyers

What is it? You can now display federal and provincial Canadian sales tax on quotes, invoices, payment links, and emails if you have enabled automated sales tax for your buyers in the following Canadian provinces: British Columbia, Quebec, and Manitoba.

Why does it matter? Canadian provinces require federal and provincial sales taxes to be separately listed on buyer-facing artifacts to comply with provincial laws and provide transparency to customers.

Product Rollout

Manually Retry Failed Card Payments

What is it? You can manually retry failed subscription card payments, giving you greater control over revenue recovery.

Why does it matter? You can take immediate action when a subscription payment fails instead of waiting for automated retries or chasing buyers to update their details. This means faster revenue recovery and more control over critical revenue collection moments.

Product Rollout

Brands Support in Invoices, Payment Links, Subscriptions, and Credit Memos

What is it? Merchants, who have the Brands Add-On, can assign different brands to invoices, payment links, subscriptions, and checkout pages in Commerce Hub, so each transaction reflects the correct logo and brand colors.

Why does it matter? Businesses with multiple brands need to present the correct branding throughout the buyer journey, avoiding confusion and appearing professional. Brands support provides a cohesive buyer journey from marketing to sales to payments.

Product Rollout

Apple Pay Now Available on Commerce Hub Custom Domains

What is it? If you use HubSpot payments, your customers can now pay with Apple Pay on checkouts from your custom domain.

Why does it matter? Giving buyers more payment options increases conversion rates. Apple Pay offers a quick and easy way for your buyers to pay, and now it works seamlessly on your custom domain.

Product Rollout

Q1 2026 Commerce Hub Product Launches
