Work around for applying taxes to HubSpot payment?

Anyone have a workaround for using HubSpot payments for products that are taxable? Are there any integration features with QuickBooks that can be leveraged for this?

I saw a previous note from a HubSpot employee that adding taxes to HubSpot payments was on the roadmap for 2023 - any ideas when this might be released?

I don't know when it will be released but Victoria, the repsonsible HubSpotter, has her email here and she may have more information https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Tax-by-line-item-on-quotes/idi-p/382097

The best workaround that I can think of is to create a custom 'tax' line item and specify what line items the tax is for in the product name or description.

Hi LChristian (and community),

As Ben mentioned previously, the best workaround right now is to add a line item for tax with a meaningful description. I know, that's a pain. Our team is starting to firm up out plans for implementing tax at the line item level now and we hope to have this rolling out to customers sometime in Q3/early Q4, so stay tuned there.

In the meantime, if you want to shoot me an email at vgumaer@hubspot.com with your portal ID and title Taxes on Line Items I'll happily add your account to my beta list for when we can release this.
