How can I associate one invoice with multiple deals in HubSpot workflows?

In our current sales process, we often have clients request multiple services to be indicated on one invoice. Each service requires a Project to be created. In order for Projects to be autmatically created based off of the Deals we have, I was hoping to associate an invoice with multiple Deals, and when that Invoice is paid, each Deal associated with it gets a Project created.

However, when I try to do that through Workflows, it seems that I can only choose one Deal associated with the Invoice for a Project to be created from.

Is there a better way I can automate the creation of a Project based off an invoice being paid?

Doing it via the API with custom code would be easiest, since you could write a Python script. No worries if you drop it into Claude code, add this link https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/latest/crm/associations/associate-records/guide, and ask what you want to do; it will generate code you can test now. Use a Husbpot dev account to test.

If you don't have data ops, you might want to do it outside. With Workflow, you would need multiple actions.
