Features blocked, unable to complete certification.

Hi,

I joined the HubSpot CMS for Developers course and used the free developer account from HubSpot. When I tried to add a page to the website using the test theme that I built, I am unable to do that. Below is the message that I get from HubSpot.

Some features will remain blocked
We weren't able to verify your business information and are unfortunately unable to provide full access to the HubSpot platform. This is a final decision that can't be appealed.

When I go to create a page from the template, the errror I get is:

"There was an error while creating your site page.

Please try again."

Apologies for the confusion - I'm looking for the actual content issue you are running into (The link to the page you are attempting to build). Since this topic has a lot of moving parts I want to make sure communication doesn't prevent this from getting solved as efficiently as possible and want to be respectful of your time. Because of this, I believe it might be best if you could call into our support line 1 888 482 7768 x3 as there we can hop on a screen-share to dive into this more deeply than what we can do here over the community post. Either way, I am more than happy to assist you with this here! I just wanted to recommend this option as it may be more helpful to accomplish your goal.

I called in, but I was told I didn't have access to phone support and I was referred back here 🙂

it seems you'll need to input your company information here https://app.hubspot.com/settings/21089011/account-defaults/general in order to be verified to create content.

I've updated that on my main account and the developer account. I'll be on a paid account soon. That's why I'm doing the training. Do I need to resubmit for verification or is that automatic. Thanks a bunch!

Hey @mikeydigital ,

Thanks for your patience here. I've run this by my internal teams and it seems that this is a standard portal account and what we would need is a developer "test" account - more on this here. The developer account you were advised to create was incorrectly linked in the initial article shared in the lesson and we've touched base with our Knowledge Base team to update this. Once you create a true test account you can copy the templates or themes you might have created as outlined here.
