Conversational Intelligence + Google Meet???

Hey all!

I've integrated Google Meet as the tool to conduct my sales calls. Everything's in place and I'm happy with the set up.

But I just completed some Hubspot training and saw the Conversational Intelligence features—video calls are captured and transcribed; key words logged, etc. My questions are:

1) If I wanted to continue using Google Meet to conduct the calls, would Conversational Intelligence still work in full?

2) If I can't use Google Meet, does Hubspot support video calls? Where is the option to do that?

3) And is it seamless for leads to join video calls through Hubspot WITHOUT having to sign up to Hubspot or jump through any other hoops?

Hi @Harrison_Moore,

Yes, Google Meet is supported, permitting that you have a Google Meet Business or Enterprise account. You can find the necessary steps here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/calling/review-call-recordings-and-transcripts#sync-google-meet-recordings

Your participants won't have to sign up for HubSpot. The experience should be the same as the usual one when they join your call.

so just to clarify, HubSpot does not have a native video calling feature

just the voice call for now.

For the Video calling you can use apps like Meet or Zoom, and also with note takers like Fathom.

Conversation intelligence will generate transcripts, mark keywords and 'd give you some coaching and stats for the call. You can read about it here.

Regarding your questions:

1) You can keep using google meet (actually recommended)

2) If you dont want to use Meet, you can use Zoom or try out Meet + Fathom, this last app makes wonderful notes, makes a brief with AI and sync it into the record in the CRM.

3) Only voice call can go into/out from HubSpot and users dont even realize it , video calls are always through integrations with well known apps as Meet or Zoom so lead who join already know the experience.

Remember that you can also use the Coaching feature to listen to recording and leave message for the team to improve their interactions.

They said they would reinstate it early March but it looks like they did not reinstate the recording sync functionality. Does anyone else have workarounds or add-ons for transcribing meeting notes, intelligence analysis, and coaching features?
