Best audio quality calling software in Australia

Hi everyone,

We're looking to shift away from our current telephony provider (Aircall) as we've found the call quality to be poor. Reps would rather call using their personal phone numbers than use it.

Does anyone have any good recommendations? We're an Australian-based company and most other solutions I've looked at have similar audio quality.

We've just implemented Gong so we need a soltuion that can reliably pass calls into HubSpot with recordings.

Sorry that you had a bad exp with Aircall - have you raised the issue with them? if yes - what was their response?

Remember, you not only pay for products in SaaS but equally for customer service.

Have you tried Native HubSpot calling? I have used it in the passed the audio quality was top-notch (unsure current though).

Hubspot does not have mobile numbers, which you need to be able to text and call from the same number...

We were in a very similar situation and also moved away from Aircall mainly due to call quality issues. Reps defaulting to their personal phones is usually a pretty clear signal something isn’t working.

One alternative that’s been reliable for us is CloudTalk. It’s especially solid if you’re doing virtual numbers and international calling, the call quality has been consistently better, and the pricing is much more predictable compared to a lot of other providers we evaluated.From an ops perspective, it works well with HubSpot (calls, recordings, and activities sync cleanly), and it’s been reliable for passing call recordings.
