Best app for enabling VOIP directly in Hubspot? (calls + sms)

I've been working with a sales team to identify a solution that would provide them with VOIP phone numbers and allow them to make and receive calls directly in the Hubspot interface, and do the same with SMS. Integration with workflows would also be ideal. So far I've struggled to find an objective opinion. I've looked into Aircall as it appeared to be the most popular solution, only to be told by their sales rep that they don't recommend using the Hubspot UI with their app because it runs on an old version of Aircall and is buggy, notably in being unreliable for receiving inbound calls.

Unfortunately, access to these features directly within Hubspot is the #1 pain point for the sales team, so that's been a pretty limiting factor.

Anyone have any experience with any apps in the marketplace that might be worth looking into? I've got conversations coming up with CloudTalk and RingCentral, but haven't really been able to get a feel for the consensus opinion on either.

I have had good experiences with CloudTalk and RingCentral in the past, so I would definitely recommend looking into both of them. Both offer great integration with Hubspot and come with plenty of features such as workflows, VOIP phone numbers, and SMS messaging. Hey Jenoble,

We had pretty much the same problem, needed calls and SMS to work right inside HubSpot without jumping between tools. We ended up going with CloudTalk and so far it’s been working quite good for that.

Calls and texts show up directly in the HubSpot UI and it logs everything automatically. Haven’t really seen any weird bugs or sync problems. We even managed to plug it into some workflows, which been super helpful for our team.

If the HubSpot side is the main struggle, I’d say give it a try
