Thanks for doing an AMA @ajacks228! I'd love to hear more about a big picture thing I'm thinking about. After 15 years using HubSpot and working the "inbound" strategy and philosophy, I'm reflecting on how much has changed. HubSpot as a brand has evolved from "if you build they will come" to creating great ads with Katheryn Hahn and sponsoring NPR podcasts. So I'm wondering how HubSpot the tool is helping marketers grow and evolve as consumers continue to evolve.

Multichannel, multimedia, multitouch attribution... nothing is a straight line anymore. What are y'all thinking about with this?

Thanks!

P.S. I'm curious what others are thinking through on this as well. Comments, DMs, emails... I want to collaborate and grow together!

Hey Dan, great question!

My name is Blake, and I'm the product manager for our Content Remix tool. I'm sure some other HubSpot folks will have thoughts to add here, but since my product is all-in on multi-channel strategies, I figured I'd kick us off here.

The short answer is that we are well aware that marketing has gotten more complex in recent years (or, recent months even! It's moving so quickly), and we're stepping up to that challenge. Across HubSpot, we talk a lot about tackling big, messy problems by making solutions that are simple for users to adopt.

Off the top of my head, I can highlight a few initiatives that help us tackle these challenges:

Content Remix! Okay, I'm biased, but I am very happy that our teams continue investing in Remix as one solution to make omnichannel content marketing more intuitive. Work to make Remix a more collaborative workspace for teams, tie Remixed content to your campaigns, and analyze the success of the content you're creating continues to evolve– and if you or anyone else in this thread has thoughts on those areas, please feel free to reach out! I'd love to hear from more users.

The playbook of effective content marketing is changing. Publishing blog posts with a content offer that leads to a landing page is still an important variable in the content marketing lifecycle, but it's not the dominant driver it once was. As audiences skew toward audio and video content, we've continued to make improvements in those areas, including things like supporting YouTube publishing on mobile and the new (and growing) podcast features we launched in Content Hub.

We're also making broader bets in the AI tooling space that we're confident will help marketers navigate the messiness of the current marketing landscape. Breeze Copilot continues to expand its footprint and capabilities across the HubSpot ecosystem, and there are other projects in the works to take what Breeze Copilot, Agents, and Intelligence do well and accelerate its effects. Since I'm not on that team and not sure what's available to share publicly yet, I'll keep this bulletpoint pretty high-level.

Hey Chidi, thanks for the question!

There are a few things you can do to manage multi-channel content effectively with HubSpot. As a quick disclaimer, I'll describe some of the tactics and tools I've found to be helpful, but every organization is going to have its own processes and needs, so feel comfortable with experimenting and adapting.

Data and assessing your multi-channel content performance is just as important as creating multi-channel content. Spending time building custom reports or grouping content into logical Campaigns will help you keep an eye on what's working well, what's underperforming, and where your opportunities to go bigger exist. If you create your content in siloes by channel, you may miss important insights that will help you scale.

I'm biased because I'm the product manager for it, but Content Remix is another great tool for tackling multi-channel content creation. It's in Content Hub Pro and Enterprise, and it allows you to take any piece of content you've already created and repurpose it across all of your marketing channels via AI in just a few seconds. We've had users report that it cuts the time it takes them to launch campaigns in half since it gets you from blank page to first draft in an instant. It supports most major marketing channels, including landing pages, blog posts, marketing emails, social posts, ads, podcasts, and more.

Also a Content Hub feature, I'd recommend setting up your Brand Voice in HubSpot as well. With Brand Voice, when you're drafting content with AI or using Breeze to help revise content you've already written, we'll have a way to understand what your brand voice and tone are supposed to be like and will generate/ edit content so that it stays on brand and aligned with your brand's identity.

Hi Jill, great questions! To craft personalized emails using AI in HubSpot, I would suggest a few things:

Maintaining a Consistent Tone and Style - Use our Brand Voice feature to ensure your emails maintain a consistent tone and style, which helps in building a strong brand identity by ensuring consistency across different content types, including email.

A/B Testing - Use AI to run A/B tests on email subject lines, copy, and images to determine what resonates best with different segments. AI can then help you analyze the results and optimize your future emails.

For someone just getting started with HubSpot, here are some tips:

Leverage Smart Content - Try adding smart content to make your emails more relevant and effective. These tools help you gather more detailed information about your contacts and tailor your emails accordingly. For example, you could create alternatives forms for visitors from a specific country.

Leverage Templates and Analytics - Use our customizable email templates (drag and drop tools) to maintain your brand consistency and analyze email performance using analytics to understand what best.

Start Small with Automation - Begin by automating tasks like welcome emails or follow-up sequences. For example, you can send an email to your website visitors based on a page visited.

I hope this helps as you navigate your journey with HubSpot!

Hi Anissa,

We are struggling to track companies or contacts that view our LinkedIn activity within HubSpot.

We have multiple LinkedIn campaigns set up with the source = LinkedIn and medium = Paid. In LinkedIn it's showing companies within our HubSpot who are 'clicking' on the posts and therefore are directed to our website and should show up on the company profile as either 'Ad activity' or as a 'Page view' with the UTM correctly set up. It doesn't seem like it isn't picking this activity up at all on multiple accounts.

Do you know why this would be? How could we we best ensure that the tracking is working correctly?

Thank you!

Hello ajacks228,

I'm wondering how to differentiate Google Ads Lead Forms submissions from regular Website form submissions? Both enter into the system with the Record Source being 'Form.' It would be great if I could label them somehow so I don't have to dive into each contact to figure out where they came from.

Here's my question!

A lot of people set-and-forget websites once they're up and running, and maybe they use the odd landing page but they leave SEO to an agency, ads to another and Content Hub isn't top-of-mind anymore. What is the new flagship feature(s) that I can use to re-enage my customers and highlight the benefits of devoting more time and energy to Content Hub?

Saying Content Remix summons me the same way Batman responds to the bat signal being projected into the clouds.

So, let's talk Remix and what it currently does/ what it will be able to do soon:

Remix is all about repurposing content. I like to say that it helps marketers play to their strengths. Personally, I'm great at writing long-form content, but hate drafting marketing emails and social posts (and don't even get me started on Ad copy) by hand. With Remix, I can write in-depth blog posts or essays, select them in Content Remix as my starting content, and then let AI make a first pass at drafting all of the short-form content that I need to distribute but don't like to work on. From there, it's easy to go in and make edits to that content and publish in the corresponding content type editor.

As a pro tip, always write something in the "Objective" or "Custom Instructions" fields. This is how you tell our AI what you're trying to achieve. By default, the AI we've built tends to assume you're trying to promote your starting content by repurposing it across other channels. If you're trying to do something like build topical authority or draft assets that expand upon part of the starting content, tell the AI using those attributes. A good Objective/ Custom Instructions will be clear and direct, e.g., for an ad, you may do something like "focus on the pain point of ABC for an audience of XYZ in COUNTRY."

We recently made a content type in Remix called "Freeform Prompt," which can be a secret weapon for creating content like never before. The Freeform Prompt can be used for things like ideation, refinement, or crafting types of content that aren't currently supported natively by HubSpot, like press releases. Personally, I run an online bookstore on the side and like to use the Freeform Prompt to take my articles and then add in a phase in Remix where I can have AI do commands like, "based on the article provided, identify three follow-up blog posts ideas that I could write next to continue building authority in this area. For each recommendation, include suggestions for blog post titles and books that I should incorporate into those blog posts for customers to buy."

So, that's where Remix is now, but what are some of the super powers in Remix you'll be able to unlock soon?

Remixing from multiple sources: Rather than starting your Remix from one piece of content, you'll be able to start from multiple pieces. If you have something like a blog post, marketing brief, persona overview, whitepaper, and press release about a particular topic/ product launch, you can use all of that to start your Remix.

Remix templates: marketing teams often have set processes and requirements for how they distribute content. With Remix templates, you can configure your remix (the type of content you create and the corresponding hierarchy, as well as the attributes that you've found to work well for your organization) and save that as a template so that you and your team can re-use the same pattern as much as you need.

On top of that, we have some (slightly further off, but still on the way) features to make it easier to attach your Remixed content to your Campaigns, improvements to how we handle languages, and features that make it easier to collaborate with your team members in Remix.

You can click on a particular Google ad account, click on one of your lead forms, and then scroll down to the bottom and you can view all the submissions that came in from that form.

When you click view submissions, you can make a list of those contacts or export those submissions.

Thank you for the reply. I should have been a bit more detailed in how I'd like to see these. My main entry when I log in to Hubspot is the Contacts page. I'd like to be able to set a column to be one of the fields like Entry Date, Contact Name, Email, Record Source, etc... but have a column to let me know if they submitted a lead form. I kind of found a way from a different user where it pulls data into Record Source Detail 1, and although it's just the headline of the Lead Form, that still helps... not perfect though.
