Mailchimp Tags with Data Sync

Hi,
We are considering upgrading to the starter tier so we can Data Sync custom fields with Mailchimp, however, I have a question about Mailchimp Tags. Will Data Sync sync tags as a custom field? And can I sync multiple tags?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

While you can use tags as a filter for the Mailchimp <> HubSpot data-sync,

I believe Mailchimp tags aren't available in custom field mappings. You can check the list of available mappings on this page under Shared data.

@andrus, @Mike_Eastwood, @Phil_Vallender have you been working with Mailchimp Tags and found a way to sync them with HubSpot? Andrus already suggested the contact export > import workaround in this Community post.

Hi @jwolver,

You can indeed create a custom field mapping to sync Mailchimp Tags to a HubSpot field. Note that you will only be able to map them to a HubSpot text property. If you're syncing all your Mailchimp contacts with HubSpot, then you can expect all your Mailchimp Tags to make their way into your HubSpot property of choice.
