What’s the best data enrichment solution that actually works?

Every provider I talk to promises “90%+ accuracy” and “the best database in the industry,” but once I sign up I get bounced emails, dead phone numbers, and zero transparency. I’m done wasting money - has anyone found a data enrichment solution that’s actually reliable?

Same boat here. We cycled through a bunch of the “big names” and honestly felt scammed half the time.

ZoomInfo locked us into a long contract, cost a fortune, and when I pushed back on accuracy they just blamed our targeting.
Apollo was okay for a while — cheap, easy to set up, and nice that you can run sequences in the same tool. But the enrichment side wasn’t strong enough once we scaled beyond basic prospecting.
We finally switched to FullEnrich and it’s been night and day. They don’t just dump from one database; they use waterfall enrichment across 20+ sources until they find a verified match. We’re getting way higher coverage (85%+ match rates) and way fewer bounces since they triple-verify everything. Pricing is refreshingly fair too — $29/month, no annual lock-in, credits roll over.
Looked at Cognism as well — super strong for GDPR and EU numbers, but the quote they gave us was insane (>$15k).

Most enrichment vendors still rely on static databases that decay faster than they admit, which is why you see bounced emails and dead numbers. The trick in 2025 is less about finding a “magical” provider and more about checking how they source and refresh data.

The more transparent ones will layer multiple sources together and show you verification steps, not just spit out a coverage percentage. HubSpot’s own enrichment through HubSpot Insights is an option for firmographics, but it’s limited to company-level data and can’t guarantee verified emails or phones

For contact-level enrichment you’ll almost always need a third-party tool that can handle real-time verification against live sources rather than static dumps.

If your main pain is bad contact info, I’d look for a service that runs waterfall enrichment plus on-the-fly validation before updating HubSpot, so you don’t pollute your CRM with noise.
