Hey @SallyAlly both IP addresses should be within your DNS settings. You should have two seperate A records, one for each, both IPs should not be on the same record.

If you google "setting up A record (your DNS provider)" you should be able to find a document on how to do this! You need two A records, one for the first IP address and one for the second. This is because HubSpot uses a CDN to host content, you're not connecting directly to a hosting service like you would a wordpress site.

Hi Community,

I’m experiencing issues with connecting my domain to HubSpot. I keep receiving error messages during the DNS verification process.

The information displayed in HubSpot seems to be contradictory:

The "Required Data" column specifies the IP address xxxxx

However, the current configuration recognizes IP address xxxx(removed for security reasons), but it still flags a "missing record" for the other IP.

Despite trying several adjustments to the DNS settings (e.g., using only one IP, trying both IPs, testing different record types), the issue persists.

My questions are:

Which of the two IP addresses is correct? Is xxxxxx outdated, or could this be a display error?

How should I proceed if both IP addresses are indeed required?

Are there specific requirements for DNS providers that I should consider?

Since I don’t have premium support, I’m reaching out to the community for guidance. Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards

Sally
