Hi @justinlu,

Is there a reason why you're not simply using a regular custom date property? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/property-field-types-in-hubspot

Combining these three dropdowns would require one of the three approaches below:

A custom code action and the help of a developer: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/workflows/custom-code-actions

A third-party automation like Zapier: https://zapier.com/apps/hubspot/integrations

Switching to a regular date property is going to be the by far easiest option. For historically entered dates, you could export the information, concatenate the fields in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and reimport, formatting as dates.

Hope this helps!

Hello Everyone!

I have a very specific problem that I need help solving for within HubSpot contact properties/workflows.

Situation:

We have a form that collects users' age with 3 separate properties

- DOB Day (dropdown select)

- DOB Month (drodown select)

- DOB Year (number)

When submitted, we need to be able to add these into a workflow that will automatically accept or decline these submissions based on a maximum/minimum age. Ideally, we like to somehow concatenate these 3 separate DOB fields and associate/directly link them with our Date of Birth (date picker) property so we can set a dynamic workflow up to accept/decline based on age.

Is this something that can be done within a workflow or a calculated property?

Thanks in advance!

Justin

Thanks for the info, Karsten! The 3-field version contributes to a higher conversion rate compared to the date picker, which is why we're trying to keep that instead of switching back.

I'll look into these two options and see if I can get one to work.

thanks!

Justin
