@rulpats - I have found that the Salesforce conversion of a Lead to a Contact can sometimes result in a sync issue such as you have identified. My strong recommendation to help organize and maintain the two system approach is to set up the sync of HubSpot Contacts to Salesfocre Contacts and deprecate the use of Leads.

Of course, you can always ell how a lifecycle stage is being overwritten by looking at [property details - I'm making an assumption in thise case that you have narrowed down the overwrite issue to a source of Salesforce.

Hope this is helpful

Steve

Steve

I have implemented a two-way sync for the Lifecycle Stage property between Hubspot and SF. The issue with two-way sync is that the Lifecycle Stage property in Hubspot gets emptied in some cases. What I understand is that two-way sync takes the most recent value. I don't want SF to empty the Hubspot lifecycle value. I'm not completely sure why this happens.

Ideally, I would have liked only Hubspot to update SF value and not otherwise. But that option is not available. See attached image.

What's the best solution for this.

HI @rulpats , are you not able to choose the direction of the integration? (Please correct me if I am wrong, it has been a few months since I have worked on the Hubspot Saleforce integration)

Although i remember in hubspot there was the possibility of choosing the direction of how the data flows/is updated, either from hubspot to salesforce or from saleforce to hubspot.

It's a two-way sync. For this property, only two-way sync is allowed.
