The algorithm for finding dupes seems extremely flawed. Maybe it's just me, but I have about a 99% false positive rate and in many cases, can't see the logic in associating two entities. With a big database, that means I need to navigate 5000 matches to find 10-15 actual matches. We also need the ability to sort and look deeper into a contact to confirm if it is or is not a match if the presented data is inconclusive.

Hi @JSOK,

If you find HubSpot's deduplication / matching insufficient, your best option would currently be third party integrations like Insycle: https://www.insycle.com/hubspot/

HubSpot is probably also working on improving data quality and deduplication features but if you're looking for a short term solution, integrations are the way to go.

Were you able to resolve your duplicates issue?

We released Koalify a HubSpot plugin to make data deduplication in HubSpot easy.
You can set your own rules/properties to identify duplicates and select these in a view.
