Could you share a screenshot of your re enrollment settings? What makes you think that they aren't working, how are you testing? The more details the better.

Hi @Louraine,

First off, which property value did you change to trigger the re-enrollment?

Have you clicked Details in the top left corner of the workflow editor and reviewed the enrollment log? Does the record which you expect to enroll appear there?

Have you clicked More > Test in the top right corner of the workflow editor to check whether the record still meets all enrollment criteria?

Please share detailed information about each check, screenshots if you can.

Here's an example, so a new Plan Review was created just now and it was associated to a company that is already enrolled, see screenshot below:

To my understanding, the enrolment should be triggered because it meets the enrolment criteria. Scenario would be, there are multiple plan reviews that can be created on the same day that is associated to the same company. so enrollment should be trigered every time.

When I checked the enrolment trigger, it meets the criteria but it did not re enroll and did not perform the action of copying the value needed for that plan review. Any idea of what might be the cause of this? Thank you.

and one of the most important criteria cannot be used on the re-enrollment trigger, could this be the reason why it was not triggering the re-enrollment? What can be the workaround on this? @karstenkoehler

Hi @Louraine,

Correct, since HubSpot does not accept this as a re-enrollment criterion (as highlighted by you in yellow), it's not behaving like one.

To work around this, you would create a workflow that is not company-based but based on your custom object 'plan review'.

In this workflow, you would re-enroll plan reviews when Plan Review Fee is unknown. You would then create a custom property (checkbox) on the company object, which could be called Plan review fee unknown on associated plan. Your workflow that enrolls plan reviews when Plan Review Fee is unknown would check the box Plan review fee unknown on associated plan on the associated company. You can then use Plan review fee unknown on associated plan for re-enrollment in your company-based workflow.

Hello @karstenkoehler , just an update, so I tried the workaround you suggested, but still did not work. Here's an example (this one is for the inspection custom object, as both custom object inspection and plan review should have the same logic), it still did not perform the action even if it meets the criteria.

Here's my re-enrolment:

Any idea, what might be causing this? or did I missed anything? Should I set the value of the Inspection Fee unknown property to No again once the value is copied?

Could you please specify what exactly you set up, how you tested it, what makes you think that it doesn't work? I currently don't have enough context to help. I've used this workaround before and it has worked.

As far as your inspection fee goes, I would assume that again you're expecting a record to enroll based on a change in a property that cannot be used for re-enrollment – a change on the associated object.

I created a separate Inspection-based workflow that will set the value of the newly created company property "Associated inspection fee unknown" to Yes whenever there's an unknown inspection fee.

And on my original Company-based workflow, I've added this property to the enrollment and re-enrollment triggers.

I've checked the "Drew Homes Austin" in the enrollment history, and it did not re-enroll even if it meets the criteria.

How exactly did you test this after setting up the workflows? Was the "Inspection Fee" unknown for the record "Drew Homes Austin"? In your new workflow, did you enroll contacts that already met the criteria when switching it on? When you updated your existing workflow, did you allow the enrollment of existing records?

Yes, the inspection fee is unknown for Drew House Austin.

Yes, I enrolled the existing contacts that met the criteria upon turning on the workflow.

Yes. upon updating, I allow enrollment of existing records.

Did the new custom property value get copied over to the company record? Can you check whether the company record is eligible for enrollment in your original workflow, by using the Test feature?

For the record that you tested this with, does this record have the value "Associated Inspection Fee unknown" = Yes? Was it copied successfully? This is to check which workflow is the one that's causing the issue.
